Pony Club Camp – A Highlight of the Year!

At OBH North, Pony Club Camp is considered one of the most anticipated events in the calendar. It offers members the chance to spend focused time with their ponies, improve their skills, and enjoy time with friends in a structured and supportive environment.

To meet the needs of different age groups and experience levels, three separate camps are offered each year.

Daily Camp

Daily Camp is aimed at younger members and those not yet ready for an overnight stay. Riders attend during the day and return home with their ponies each evening. Activities typically include riding sessions, games, and introductory stable management. It provides a relaxed and accessible way to take part in camp.

Senior Camp

Senior Camp is a residential option for older members. Riders and ponies stay on-site and follow a full programme of riding instruction, stable duties, and evening activities. It offers a more in-depth experience and allows members to develop both their independence and horsemanship.

Area 12 Camp

Area 12 Camp is available to riders working towards their B Test and above. The programme is more intensive, with a focus on higher-level riding and horse care. Sessions are delivered by coaches who understand the expectations of advanced training and assessment.

No matter the level, camp is always a memorable experience, where riders grow in confidence, improve their riding, and have a lot of fun along the way.
