Efficiency Tests

The Pony Club Training structure encourages Members to take tests that enable them to learn progressively about horse and pony care and riding.  The tests are taken at recommended ages and are designed with certain objectives in mind.  You can download the Test Training system to see the order in which they should be taken.

The Pony Club Training System

B, B+, Lunge Test, AH and A are all organised at Area or National level.

The syllabus and minimum age for each test can be found here

Friday Night Club runs in the Spring on alternate Fridays from 6pm to 7.30pm/8pm. This is a good place to learn some of the horse and pony care as well as attaining Achievement Badges, so do come along once it gets going.

Efficiency Test Rallies run from Autumn to Spring and are based on the Efficiency Test and Progressive Test Syllabus for each exam. These rallies include riding, horse and pony care and road safety. These will cover all levels from E test to A/AH.

Camp is another great place to improve your riding skills and knowledge.

Further additional training sessions are also run as required for specific exams.
