We put on a huge variety of activities, from rallies and training, competitions, shows, tests, fun rides and camps. The Pony Club is a unique youth equestrian organisation, providing the opportunity to participate in 9 different sports. At OBHPC we focus on Dressage, Show jumping, Eventing, Polocrosse, Mounted Games, Polo, Pony Racing, Tetrathlon and Endurance.<\/p>\n

The Pony Club has been the starting point for a large majority of equestrian team members, equine professionals, and medal winners. Training is at the heart of The Pony Club, providing opportunities to build knowledge on improving equine welfare, rider safety and enabling Members to develop lifelong skills, alongside riding, and having fun!<\/p>\n

Our core activity is mounted rallies covering all disciplines and horse-related interests. Rallies are generally group lessons taught by an experienced Coach covering a specific discipline with the cost divided between the group. Find out what is coming up on the Calendar of Rallies & Fixtures. We add new dates weekly so keep checking back.<\/p>\n

Camps<\/h4>\n

Our members eagerly await the summer holidays as they herald the return of fun-filled camps! Run by wonderful teams of volunteers and parents, we put on three in July and August for Tiny Trotters and Minis, Juniors and Seniors. Applications open in April and you can find out more about the venues, organising teams and what’s on during these fabulous few days on the Camps page.<\/p>\n

OBHPC also hosts a technical riding camp in February for senior members, open to Area 9 plus the ever-popular\u00a0 Ridgeway Ride with overnight stop in May.<\/p>\n

The Resource Hub, designed and updated by PCUK, is your go to for guides and standards, which we comply with, such as rules on equine vaccines, riders’ kit, rule books, tests syllabuses, achievements and more.
