The website should have the answers to any questions you have but if not, please just pick up the phone or send an email to any committee member or rally organiser who will know where to find the answer for you. We email a monthly DC\u2019s Newsletter with the latest info, upcoming events, rallies and fixtures. As a volunteer run organisation, we rely on you to help us keep our myriad activities going throughout the year. By getting involved you\u2019ll meet like-minded people, have a lot of fun and help your child to develop their horse and pony skills as well as friendships that can last a lifetime. You don\u2019t need to have any knowledge of horses or ponies or any previous pony club experience. In addition we organise events such as a mock hunt, beach ride, a Ridgeway ride, fancy dress rallies, an Easter egg hunt and Christmas events and shows including a Junior Show just for minis and juniors 12 years and under.<\/p>\n<p>We also run many dismounted rallies for horse and pony care, many of which result in an achievement badge. In addition we have vet visits, trips to Olympia and camping trips to Badminton Horse Trials. There is no minimum age to take the Spurs test but members should be able to understand the potential welfare implication of any misuse of spurs.<\/p>\n<p>You can find information, FAQs, training
