Rallies are organised by the branch committee and will be advertised via email or on the\u00a0calendar\u00a0at least seven days in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Rallies may consist of \u00a0a mixture of flatwork, jumping (general rallies) or be focused on one discipline. Some rallies are unmounted, usually for horse and pony care instruction. Team practices or specific discipline training sessions are not rallies. You are welcome to attend the rallies for any discipline, even if you have never done them before. The organiser will be able to explain about the discipline and tell you what to do.<\/p>\n<p>The correct dress at rallies is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Riding hat<\/li>\n<li>Long sleeved white or pale blue shirt<\/li>\n<li>Pony Club tie<\/li>\n<li>Navy OS&amp;B sweatshirt, or long sleeved branch polo shirt (available to buy from Sheila Fennings)<\/li>\n<li>Tan, cream, or dark jodhpurs<\/li>\n<li>Brown\/black jodhpur boots, or long boots<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please tie long hair back, and if needed wear a hair net to keep it tidy<\/p>\n<p><strong>In order to compete at an Area competition you must have attended a minimum of three rallies<\/strong>\u00a0between the 1st July of the previous year and the Area entry date. Rallies are recorded on the Pony Club Database and this will be checked against Area entries.<\/p>\n<p>Our members can take part in the following disciplines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/branches.pcuk.org\/oldsurreyburstow\/dressage\/\">Dressage<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/branches.pcuk.org\/oldsurreyburstow\/endurance\/\">Endurance<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/branches.pcuk.org\/oldsurreyburstow\/eventing\/\">Eventing<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/branches.pcuk.org\/oldsurreyburstow\/horse-pony-care\/\">Horse &amp;
