Pony Club Tests<\/h2>\n

The Pony Club Training structure encourages members to take tests which enables them to learn progressively about horse and pony care and riding.<\/h4>\n

The Tests are progressive and are designed to help you to increase your knowledge and skills as you work towards each level, beginning with \u201cE\u201d which is very simple, and finishing with \u201cA\u201d which involves a greater practical and theoretical knowledge.<\/p>\n

Safe riding on the road is very important and so the Mini Road Rider badge must be completed before the \u201cD\u201d Test, and the main Road Rider badge completed before the \u201cC\u201d Test.<\/p>\n

From \u201cC\u201d Test level and upwards, the Riding and Horse & Pony Care sections of the tests can be taken separately.<\/p>\n

Pony Club Badges<\/h2>\n

Pony Club Achievement Badges are awarded to members who attend Stable Management rallies and\/or have studied a topic in detail on an element of pony care or the environment.<\/h4>\n

Both\u00a0equine and non-equine badges are available. The circular fabric badges are designed for sewing onto your Branch sweatshirt.<\/p>\n

On gaining 21 achievement Badges, a gold badge and certificate can be awarded.<\/p>\n

Mini Achievement Badges<\/h4>\n

These are aimed at our younger members. They are designed to give a basic grounding in the main topics of equestrianism and the countryside.<\/p>\n

On gaining 14 mini achievement badges, a mini gold badge and certificate can be awarded.<\/p>\n
