<p><strong>\ud83c\udf1f What a Fantastic Weekend at Somerford Camp!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We had an unforgettable time at our 2025 Summer Camp, based in Block B at Somerford Park. With a full schedule of riding, learning and fun, our members impressed us all with their energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2b50 Outstanding Coaching &amp; Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Campers were treated to top-tier tuition across all disciplines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cross-country lessons<\/strong> with the brilliant <strong>Amy Lennon<\/strong>, who guided riders of all levels with expertise and encouragement.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show jumping and flatwork<\/strong> sessions taught by <strong>Chris Barr and Danielle Dawson<\/strong>, whose knowledge and energy made every lesson fun and confidence-building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\ud83e\uddea Learning Beyond the Saddle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Campers gained valuable knowledge during a horse weighing and feeding talk by<strong> Baileys Horse Feeds<\/strong>. Members were fascinated by the nutrition advice and tips on keeping horses in peak condition\u2014reinforcing the importance of horsemanship beyond riding.<\/p>\n<p>Badge work sessions ran throughout camp, helping members progress toward their next Pony Club achievements with practical sessions on grooming, tack care, and safety.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83e\udd20 Western Night\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saturday night saw the pavilion transformed for a Western-themed social, complete with fabulous cowboy hats, checked shirts, and a bucking bronco. Laughter echoed across the field as each camper gave it a try\u2014but it was Jane who stayed on longest, winning loud applause from everyone!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfc5 Recognition &amp; Farewell<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Sunday afternoon, families gathered for the traditional presentation of certificates and badges.
