Perth Pony Club welcomes all children and adults to their Mini One Day Event

General Information:
Sunday 26th May at Inchcoonans Competition Yard, Errol, Perthshire PH2 7RB
Open to all, entries via Horsemonkey. Entries close on 21st May.
Classes £12 each (Perth Pony Club members £10). Late entries may be accepted by Facebook
or email with an additional cost of £2 per entry. Toilet and catering van on site.

This is designed to be a fun and encouraging competition, especially for those who have yet to undertake an ODE.
Competition consisting of Dressage, Show jumping and Power X on Woods and Tracks
enclosed course in place of XC. Competitors can compete in one or all phases.
Rosettes to 6th in all classes

ODE trophies for Perth Pony Club members 10 and under and 11-12 – to be presented at
Club Trophy Night. Members wishing to be included for the purposes of trophies must take
part in all three phases. Ages as of 1st January 2024.

Classes:
1. Dressage – PC Walk/Trot Test 2022
2. Dressage – Preliminary PC 70 Test 2022
3. Dressage – Grassroots PC 80 Test 2018
*Lead reins are welcome. Riders may have their tests called.

4. SJ – X poles
5. SJ – 40-50cm
6. SJ – 60cm
7. SJ – 70cm
8. SJ – 80cm
All single phase with the jump off undertaken immediately, regardless of score in the first
round.

9. Power X – X poles
10. Power X – 40-50cm
11. Power X – 60cm
12. Power X – 70cm
13. Power X – 80cm
Optimum time allocated for each class. 4 penalties per knock down, 4 penalties per stop. 3
stops at one fence or four across the course incurs elimination. Horse or rider fall =
elimination.

Rules/Terms and Conditions:
This is a Pony Club Competition being run under Pony Club Rules.

Times will be listed not before 6pm on Thursday 23rd May 2024.
Withdrawal date 22nd May 2024.
No refunds after the withdrawal date for any reason. Before this date, refund minus booking
fee will be given.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel, all entries will be refunded minus
booking fees.

There will be no ambulance, but First Aider’s will be in attendance and included in the entry price.

No horse or pony may compete more than once in any class.

All riding hats must conform to Pony Club standards (hat tagged) and must be worn with
chin strap correctly fitted at all times when mounted.

Back protectors (2018 standard) and hat with no fixed peak are required for Power X.

The judge’s decision is final.
Bad behaviour will not be tolerated and the organisers reserve the right to ban anyone from participating, without refund of fees, for any behaviour deemed by the organisers to have caused trouble or upset anyone.

No horse or pony to be tied up to outside of trailer or lorry without supervision.

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and all fouling must be cleaned up.

The organisers have made every effort to avoid clashes on the day, but in some cases, this
may be unavoidable and will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Neither the Perth Branch of The Pony Club nor anyone acting on their behalf shall be
responsible for any loss, damage, accident or theft of any horse, pony, rider, spectator, or
property.

The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at the event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must
take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the
instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.

All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have
their own third-party cover. The Perth Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this
event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.

Any complaint must be submitted in writing, with a £40 deposit, which will be returned if
complaint upheld.
