December 2023

December 2023 Huge well done to our member Lily Nutland who braved the rain & the wind 28th Dec at the West Hants pc Triathlon, she came a brilliant 2nd place in the Junior girls, which also means she’s qualified for the Area Finals in March, well done!!

19 happy children and their very festive ponies enjoyed a Christmas rally on Tuesday 19th. Lots of fun and games and festive music, lots of quality streets and donuts, Portmans take on a ‘mini major’ and even a visit from Santa who took time out from his busy schedule to fly down to Hinton St Mary!

Thank you children for being such good fun and a huge thank you to Emily Kendall who has been such a big part in all their riding achievements throughout the year! From mastering their rising trots to flying big jumps, it’s been super to see so much improvement.

Some of our mini & junior members today headed over to RAC saddle club to compete in showjumping, smiley faces all round with Ebony coming 1st in class 1, Vivian 2nd & Edward 3rd then William came a fabulous 1st place in both of his classes, Alice came an amazing 2nd & 3rd in hers, whilst Grace came 4th & India came 3rd!

Well done guys, especially as this was some of yours first time ever competing & first time doing rounds without any adult instruction should be very proud of yourselves well done all Our members Ruby &

Monroe travelled up this morning to the Bristol Royal Hospital for children along with their shetland racing friends from the Shetland Performance Display Team to hand over a fabulous amount of money raised by doing the displays for the hospital well done all involved
