Back from a super weekend for the 70cm eventing team for the regional champs at Aston le walls. \r\nAfter arriving on Saturday with the ponys in temporary stables for the night we embarked on a very soggy course walk! \r\n\r\nThank fully the sun was shining for us in the morning with an early start!\r\nDressage first and all 3 did lovely neat tests with some super marks. \r\nNext the showjumping and 2 fabulous clears from Poppy L and Poppy A and just 1 very unlucky pole from Emily. \r\nCross country they were on fire \ud83d\udd25 \r\nPoppy and squishy so much so, they smashed out a super clear round but picked up 6 time faults for going too fast \ud83d\udca8 \r\nPoppy and Charlie had a fab clear round just 4 seconds off optimum time and Emily and Ollie had just 1 stop at a scary house, but then went to fly the rest of the round faultlessly. \r\nA cracking weekend with lots learnt. \r\nA big thank you to all the volunteers and everyone who was involved in the running of this years pony club champs event. \r\nThank you to Amanda Malins for coming, your support, guidance and help was very much needed and appreciated \u2764\ufe0f\r\nSpecial shout out to Emily and Ollie, Ollie is 25 years old and wow what a star \u2b50 a super event and performance to retire on, Emily you did him proud \ud83d\ude0a \r\nPoppy and Charlie finishing on their dressage score with a podium finish \ud83d\udc4c\r\nPoppy and squishy your cross country \ud83d\udca8! but a good problem to have and you will be back just a tad slower \ud83e\udd23\u2764\ufe0f\r\nBelles and Taco …we missed you lots ! But we look forward to your return \ud83d\udcaa\r\nMillie Ashton, I know your my daughter! But I have to say you were a top whole team groom and brought team cheer and amusement! (I was grateful for that \ud83e\udd23) \r\nResults \r\nTeam 6th place \ud83d\udc4c\r\nPoppy and Squishy 8th \r\nEmily and Ollie. 12th \r\nPoppy and Charlie 3rd \ud83e\udd49<\/p> <\/div>\r\n\r\n
