Riding boots or jodhpur boots must have a smooth, fairly thin sole, and a well defined square cut heel.\u00a0 No other footwear will be allowed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All tack should be clean and in good repair. Stirrups\u00a0should be checked regularly for correct size, they must have\u00a01\/4 inch clearance either side of the foot. Juniors are<b>\u00a0strongly<\/b>\u00a0recommended to wear safety stirrups.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Saddle pads to be white, navy, black or brown.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For\u00a0<b>formal rallies and tests<\/b>\u00a0beige jodhpurs or breeches, and a long or short sleeved white shirt should\u00a0be worn with either a Pony Club tie or Pony Club stock and pin for seniors (14+) and a formal tweed\u00a0riding jacket.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Variations<\/u><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If it is cold or wet, members may wear their red Pony Club jackets and seniors a plain navy or black jacket.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Peakless hats and body protectors are compulsory for cross country and arena eventing. You may wear the Pony Club red cross country top and red hat cover if you have one.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>(Please read &#8216;Pony Club safety Rules&#8217; page for information on riding hats and Management and C+ training<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Unmounted training<\/strong>: \u00a0Please come looking neat and tidy, wearing your pony club sweatshirt and sturdy footwear, suitable for working around horses. \u00a0Jeans are acceptable. \u00a0There is no need for a tie or collared white shirt, nor jodhpurs.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mounted training<\/strong>: please be correctly turned out in shirt, jacket &amp; tie.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Competi<\/strong><strong>tions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Dress for riders as for rallies above but tweed jackets must be worn (over a shirt and tie) on which you must pin your PC badge (with any test felt awarded \u2013 see Ages &amp; Stages).<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>When attending a competition representing the Pony Club, you are expected to show a high standard of turnout which includes plaiting your pony. \u00a0In an ideal world, your pony would have \u00a0pulled or plaited tail. \u00a0But if you have any questions, please ask the DC or your Rep.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>In the summer, prior to the Gosling Cup, there will be
