PWPC at PC National Champs 2026

How exciting to have PWPC members heading to Offchurch Bury for the JCB Pony Club National Championships!

It was a fantastic few days for the Club, starting on Wednesday with Jasmine H and Emilie B competing in the dressage classes. Emilie and her pony Spirit danced their way through the Dressage to Music, while Jasmine and Max produced a lovely test in the Intermediate Dressage.

Friday and Saturday belonged to our event riders, Isla H, Lily B and Izzy L – and were two long and nerve-wracking days (mostly for the parents!).

Friday saw all three riders complete their dressage and show jumping, as well as fitting in course walks with Dawn and some invaluable top-up walks with Tom Bird to help everyone get to grips with the technical cross-country courses.

Then came cross-country day on Saturday. It was an especially long wait for our PC100 riders, who weren’t due to leave the start box until after 3pm!

There was some fantastic riding across the board, with a standout performance from Isla H, who finished a brilliant 2nd in her PC90 section. 🥈

Most importantly, there was wonderful support, enthusiasm and team spirit throughout the Championships, with everyone representing PWPC brilliantly both in and out of the saddle.

Huge congratulations to Emilie, Jasmine, Isla, Lily and Izzy – and thank you to everyone who coached, supported and helped them along the way.
