Covid – 19 Procedures for Radnor and West Pony Club group instruction

  • Do not leave home if you or someone you live with has any of the following symptoms:
  • A high temperature
  • A continuous cough
  • A loss of, or change to your sense of smell or taste.

 

  • A group consist of 4/5 riders, 1 coach and a branch official (safeguarding, first aid, etc.) which will cover several groups at a time.
  • Rallies must have a 10-15 minutes handover period to allow members to leave the teaching area. The rally organiser will then indicate to the next session that the area is clear to enter. Members must be tacked up and waiting besides their vehicle until called to avoid delay. No on is to mount their horse/pony before entering any arena
  • Allocated Times will be given to rides to assemble and disperse. You Must stick to this.
  • Please keep people accompanying members to rallies to a minimum.
  • If you have 2 siblings of similar level, we will endeavour to group them together. If they are of different levels, it may be that you will have to make two journeys or book them in for training on different days
  • Parking should be at distance of 5 – 10 m spaces.
  • Anti- bacterial gel will be available to use at the coaching premises
  • No dogs allowed
  • Please respect the venue we are using by not touching gates or fencing etc. where possible. Be aware that there will be no toilet facilities so you must make your own provision for this.
  • No photography on social media unless approved
  • All payments for training must be made in advance online, no cash will be accepted on the day
  • If a child needs assistance during the lesson, the person assisting should be wearing appropriate PPE, such as masks and gloves. The rider should then turn their face away from this person in order to minimise droplet transmissions.
  • Vaccinations will be accepted as long as they are within the 12 months period. Please be aware that should competitions start again, the 6-month rule may apply.
  • Hats are not to be shared between riders.
  • You will be required to complete a Participant Consent Form once which will be sent to you electronically, a register will be taken at all rallies training and events detailing all members attending, supporting adults /accompanying persons and arrival and departure times.
