Yesterday we had a junior and senior team head over to Kelsall for the East Cheshire friendly competition.<\/p>\n

Juniors – Ebony, Hattie, Poppy, Olliarnah and guest rider Emmie absolutely rode their socks off during the heats to earn a place in the A Final – a fantastic achievement while we are on winter break from training! Showing great team work, cheering each other on, tackling 3 brand new untrained races they finished a very well deserved 2nd \ud83c\udf89<\/p>\n

Seniors – Holly, Jacob, Darcy, Darcey and Olliarnah as 5th man went out as a brand new team and absolutely held their own. Again the Rockwood team spirit shined through, both in the warm up arena (hey macarena was the song of choice yesterday \ud83e\udd23), and in the main ring where every single rider supported and cheered for each other. Tackling 4 new races they pushed right to the end and finished 3rd in the B Final.<\/p>\n

A brilliant start to the 2026 season which didn’t go unnoticed by the organisers who commented how well the Rockwood teams have improved \ud83e\ude75\ud83d\udc99\ud83d\udc07\ud83d\udc99\ud83e\ude75<\/p>\n

Training starts on Friday nights at Woodnook on 30th January<\/p>\n

6:30 for assisted & juniors,<\/p>\n

7:45 for seniors<\/p>\n

\nNO hoodies\/jewellery\/mobile phones
\nHair to be tied up and hairnets worn
\nClean and presentable ponies and tack<\/p>\n
