COVID 19 PROCEDURES – APRIL 2021
  • Do not attend if you or any of your household have any any COVID 19 symptoms (recent onset of cough, high temperature, loss of smell or taste), or had a recent positive COVID 19 test (within the last 2 weeks)
  • Only members of a single household to travel to Scotsburn in the same vehicle
  • Only one adult/parent per rider allowed on the site
  • We are required to maintain a record of all who are present on the site at all times for every activity; so until this requirement is relaxed you must pre-book using the club entries site.
  • If you have not pre-booked you will not be allowed onto the field – No exceptions.
  • While there are supplies of antiviral sanitiser, sprays and disposable gloves at Scotsburn, you should have your own personal supply for use by you and other family members at all times
  • You must dispose of all wipes, gloves etc. in your own plastic waste bag and take them away with you when leaving the site.

Compliance with Current Scottish Government Rules on Outdoor Groups ( effective from 1th March 2021)

  • There are restrictions on the number of riders under 12 meeting.  The number is 30 including coaches etc forming a field of paly bubble.  Over 12s are restricted to a field of play bubble of 15 including coaches.
  • However parents (Adults over 18) must remain at their vehicles and not socialise in groups to ensure we are complying with this rule.  The 2 metre minimum distancing rule must be maintained at all times.
  • You as a parent are not there to socialise – you are there as the driver to enable your child to participate in an outdoor physical activity.  Keep this in mind at all times.
  • Notwithstanding we may  comply with the current rules, do not post details of the activity on any social media sites.  Riding is perceived by many as an elitist activity and therefore it is very important that we, as representatives of The Pony Club organisation, are not seen as breaking/bending any rules.
  • For the duration of the current Scottish Government Rules ridden activities will last for a maximum of 1 hour.

Track and Trace

  • We require to maintain a record of every individual who attends any activity.  Therefore you must provide full contact details (address, mobile phone and email).  To do this efficiently you must pre-book for the activity through the Equoevents booking system.  Go to the Equoevents website or click on this link – http://www.equoevents.co.uk  .    Once entered please then email ross-shire@pcuk.org with the details as requested above for each member you have booked on.
