Local celebrity, Worlds Strongest Man x3, Tom Stoltman and his wife Sinead made a special appearance at our Annual Awards night on the 2nd of November in the Ben Wyvis Hotel in Strathpeffer.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed meeting Tom and he was genuinely interested in what the awards were for.  He got asked a few questions……….Little Logan, one of our youngest members, had him feeling his muscles to see if he thought his muscles were bigger than Toms and was down doing push ups to challenge the strongman champion.

We started the evening with the Summer Camp Team awards being put out.

There was lots of giggles and fun had on the night and Tom got stuck in chatting to the kids and answering all their questions…….and obliging  the odd selfie!

We enjoyed a nice meal before the awards started and finished off with a talent show, judged by Tom, Sinead and one of our members Ella.

Once we had finished with the team awards, we moved on to the individual awards.  Some of these were difficult to capture on camera with the height differences but Tom soon sorted that for us.

He even threw dad, Alan, up to receive his award for being the biggest support through 2024.  Alan is a joiner by trade and along with his dad, has built the club a brand new set of working hunter jumps for our annual fundraiser show.  He has also been instrumental in getting the Scotsburn Cross Country course back up and running.

Tom was then crowned with his very own sash by the RPC members.  It read Tom Stoltman, Ross-shire Pony Clubs favourite Worlds Strongest Man.  He definitely made a few new fans on the night.

A huge thank you to both  Tom & Sinead for giving up their time to join us on our awards night and to Mia for organising it.  The kids had a great time.  Tom & Sinead are a lovely genuine couple who just slotted right in to the night and they were both great with the members and parents.  A special night for many made even more special by their presence.
