NORTH CUP 2026 – A HUGE THANK YOU! 🐴❤️

We were incredibly fortunate to receive so much support for North Cup 2026, and we genuinely cannot thank everyone enough for the time, effort and enthusiasm that went into making the day such a success.

From those who volunteered in the weeks beforehand, those who gave up their time on the day, and everyone who came along afterwards to help with the clear-up — thank you! It really does take a small army to put on an event like this, and we are extremely grateful to every single person who played a part.

To all our amazing sponsors — thank you! Whether you sponsored the event, a jump or a class, your generosity makes such a huge difference. Without your support, North Cup simply could not run. There are enormous costs involved in putting on an event and ensuring we have everything in place to keep everyone safe and supported, including medics, doctors, portaloos, communications and so much more. Thank you for helping us make it possible for everyone to come along and enjoy a fabulous day.

To all our judges and officials — thank you! From Dressage and Show Jumping to the Arena Event and Cross Country, you gave up your time freely and we really cannot thank you enough.

A special mention must go to Colin Hexley, who stepped in at the last minute and built two fantastic tracks for us for the Show Jumping and Arena Event. Colin spent two days volunteering and working on the courses to make sure he was happy with them before the event, and then supported us throughout the day itself. We really appreciate everything you did, Colin!

And then there is our amazing catering team! Lesley and Hilarie were instrumental in making sure our volunteers were fed and watered before heading out to their roles for the day. James and Lianne kept everyone supplied throughout the day with some of the best home baking, and Rachael’s mum, Liz, made filled rolls to keep everyone going. ❤️

And most importantly — the kids had the best time! And judging by the feedback, so did the adults!

We have received some amazing comments about the courses, atmosphere, judges and volunteers, and hearing how much everyone enjoyed the day made every single hour of preparation worthwhile.

Honestly, if you played any part in North Cup 2026 — whether big or small — thank you. It really is appreciated.

Together, we are building the foundations for the next generations of eventers. ❤️🐴

The youngest rider on the course this year was young Stella, who completed the shortened 60cm Cross Country course with just one stop out on course. What an achievement!

I am incredibly proud of all our members — not only for getting out there and giving it a go, but also for the support they showed each other and how brilliantly they coped, especially those who had very little or no previous Cross Country experience.

North Cup 2026 was a true team effort, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you all so, so much. ❤️
