One of our Junior Quiz teams were fortunate enough to qualify for the National Finals in Sheffield. Jamie Cameron, Katie Munro, Ava Skinner and Kayla MacDonald went off down to represent the club and they had a brilliant time away.
They went through each of the stations where they worked on various subjects such as What Am I – Farrier tools, A crossword on feeding, Pictionary which was difficult, Name the item – this included feeling items in bags and naming what they contained. Questions on the Pony Club, Learning Theory, Naming the odd one out based on the blue cross achievement badges and Hexagonal Tarsia.
They run out of time on a few of the stations but overall, they had a great experience and loved the whole weekend.
Congratulations to the 4 of them, what an achievement. 254 teams tried to get to the nationals and Ross-shire were 35th on the day and took a lot home from the whole experience. Well done.
