Tetrathlon is a sport within Pony Club that has massively increased in popularity over recent years and Ryburn Valley has been at the forefront of this within our region. Endurance

Endurance involves riding over open country along a specified route with specific speed requirements. there will be check points along the route to recorded competitors numbers as they pass, most competitive rides will require a vetting before and after the ride. The final scores are based on speed of competition as well as fitness of the horse/pony calculated by recording their heart rate.

The Ryburn Valley members have been active participants of Pony Club Endurance riding attending many non-competitive rides over the years as well as having riders compete at Area and National level.

Our Endurance lead is Liz Dunn, she will provide members with everything they need to know before they attend their first Endurance ride as well as ensure members and their horses/ponies are fit and ready for the ride.
