Summer Camps

As like most Pony Clubs, The Ryburn Valley Pony Club run two annual camps over the summer, Junior and Senior.

These camps offer our members a chance to spend quality time with their ponies and fellow members whilst being provided with a variety of ridden and horsemanship training.

Junior Camp

Our junior camp runs over 3 days over a non-residential format. Ponies are stabled at our venue, Salter Royd Stables. Over the course of their time at junior camp members are taught all about how to care for their ponies as well as being provided with top notch ridden instruction and of course many fun activities, with the majority or members doing one of their achievement tests at the end of the week. We are incredibly lucky to have a fantastic local venue that allows us access to all of their facilities including cross country and gallop tracks! Junior camp offers our younger members a real chance to expand their knowledge and skills ahead of moving on to senior camp.
