Championship Fees

Claiming 50% Championship fees and milage

Seavington Pony Club Members who compete at Pony Club Championships, are entitled to claim 50% of their class entry fees and 50% of their mileage.

Seavington is proud to have our members qualify at Area competitions. This policy intends to encourage members to participate at the next level and help parents with the cost associated with such competitions.

Members can be reimbursed half of their entry fee for each class competed in, at Regional and National Championships, where they are representing Seavington Pony Club. For clarity, the Mini Champs are part of the Regional Championships.

Mileage is paid at a rate of 40p per mile, for half of your round trip – i.e travel in one direction. Journey mileage is calculated using the your home/yard postcode and venue postcode. Mileage is claimed per vehicle, not per member i.e. if 2 members travel in the same vehicle, only one mileage claim can be submitted.

All claims must be submitted to the Treasurer within 30 calendar days of the competition date.

If you competed at the 2024 Regional or National Championships, for Seavington Pony Club, please complete the attached form and return to our Treasurer, by 1st December 2024.

This is an optional claim policy. All monies paid come out of our club funds.
