Mounted Rallies

Between September and April, mounted rallies generally take place fortnightly in the indoor arena’s at World Horse Welfare and Downclose. Rallies take the form of general working rallies. The content covered varies and can include flatwork, jumping and mounted games.

In the summer months we anticipate and try to make the most of the good weather, so our rallies move outside. We hold general working rallies in the outdoor arena at Downclose and also hold more specific rallies in the form of show jumping, dressage, cross country and mounted games, at various local locations.

In addition, we also organise seasonal fun rides such as Easter Egg Hunts and Summer Hacks.

Unmounted Rallies

Unmounted rallies, namely Stable Management, take place on a monthly basis outside of the dark, cold and wet Winter months. During these rallies, members follow the progressive test syllabus which in turn teaches them the theory they require for their next test. They will also work towards Pony Club Achievement Badges.
