Welcome to The South Berkshire Pony Club. Founded in 1930, we are one of the oldest branches in the country and continue to thrive with an active membership which is involved with everything the Pony Club has to offer. With over 80 members, aged from 3 to 19, we offer something for everyone and pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming. We offer fun activities and events which are enjoyed by all our members, whatever their age, ability or ambition. Regular rallies help our members get to know each other as well as improve their riding and boost confidence. Our members also compete at all levels from trotting poles on the lead to eventing at 110cm.Our goal is to improve all aspects of horsemanship through unmounted sessions in pony care, quality training across all disciplines and levels, and by promoting the highest ideals of sportsmanship, team spirit and loyalty. The Pony Club has been the starting point for a large majority of equestrian team members, equine professionals, and medal winners. Training is at the heart of The Pony Club, providing opportunities to build knowledge on improving equine welfare, rider safety and enabling Members to develop lifelong skills, alongside riding, and having fun!
