Welcome to our Branch<\/h3>\n

Our branch, \u202fSouth Hertfordshire, is small, welcoming, and fully inclusive. We were\u202festablished in 1965 and are part of Pony Club Area 12. Our members come from north of Harpenden, east to beyond Enfield, south to Hammersmith and west to Watford.\u202f We are a small branch, currently 36 members and growing, whose ages range from 4 to 18.<\/p>\n

At SHPC we offer a wide range of activities including introductory rallies, show jumping, dressage and cross country and encourage our members to represent SHPC at the various Pony Club events and competitions that take place throughout the year.\u202fWe are currently running most of our rallies in groups according to ability and age. We have a lovely new group on lead rein and just off lead rein children. Please contact us if this is something that interests you.<\/p>\n

As a club we also offer a range of un-mounted activities too, including un-mounted games and trips to places of interest.\u202f Last but not least we provide training and support should our members wish to work towards obtaining the Pony Club Efficiency Tests, or achievement badges.<\/p>\n

Above all we want our members to have fun! Rallies are open to all ages and abilities from lead rein to pony club championships from happy hackers to keen competitors there is something for everyone.<\/p>\n

There will also be some fun rallies especially during the summer when the members have a go at gymkhana games or may be go on a picnic ride.<\/p>\n

Our annual senior camp is at Bury Farm and is also open to all members over the age of 12, we hold an non residential 2-day camp for the younger members.<\/p>\n

Each year at our AGM we come together to celebrate our members achievements.\u202f We keep our members up to date with regular newsletters and email updates.<\/p>\n

Our Pony Pals – On and Just off the Lead Rein<\/span><\/h3>\n

Bury Farm’s Annual Camp<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Highlight<\/em> – the best time of the year for our pony clubbers is our five day camp at Bury Farm. We get to use the most amazing facilities, fantastic instructors and the best bit, friends and ponies hanging out. Individual and Team Shows<\/span><\/h3>\n

At SHWMPC we try and encourage all our members to get out and support as many shows as possible. This is a good opportunity to put into practice everything they’ve learnt and have been working on at the club. We had a great day at Whaddon Chase PC Show, coming home with lots of wins and rosettes.<\/span><\/p>\n
