Senior Winter Training – Thursday 22 April 2021

Dear All

Please see attached sheet for groups and times for Senior Winter Training on Thursday 22 April.  There are still a few places available, please get in touch if you would like to attend.

As usual please leave the facilities as we found them, picking up any hay & muck outside in the car park and a gentle reminder for all to arrive on time for your session. Please be ready at least 10 mins prior, as arriving late disturbs the session in progress for both instructor and fellow riders – thank you.

Please ensure payment has been made for this session in advance, £15 to Deborah Crozier, quoting members name and date of training as reference.

Please see attached Covid Rules & Guidelines that we all must adhere to please.

Finally, it is required that for you to attend this session you will have to complete an Equine Health Status declaration form 24 hours before the training.  Completed forms must be emailed to Helen Proctor at

Any queries, please let me know.

Kind regards

The following guidance must be followed to allow the sessions to happen:

All sessions will have a maximum of 4 riders, 1 instructor and a first aider/steward.

There will be no access to the indoor arena for parents (excluding lead rein or those who may be required to offer first aid cover).  There will also be no access to the toilets.  Parents are respectfully asked to remain in the car park for the duration of the ridden session and follow all Covid guidelines as detailed by the Government.

Please travel to the venue with members of your household and ideally only the rider and one parent.  Preferably non-riding siblings should stay at home, but if this is not possible, they must remain within the vehicle at all times.

Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your session and park with 8 meters between vehicles.

Once ready, riders should remain with their parents and the instructor will collect the riders at the allocated ride time from the carpark.

If a rider is unable to adjust their tack, it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that the girth is tight and all tack fitted correctly before the child goes to the instructor.

Riders will be returned to the car park when the session is finished and we ask that you leave as soon as possible.

Due to the ever-changing rules and regulations the above may be amended at any point (and with short notice).

Dear All

I hope everyone is well and at long last there seems a light at the end of the tunnel!
