We also pride ourselves on letting our kids just enjoy being with their ponies, learning how to look after them, and discovering all the activities that are possible through the Pony Club.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Each month, on a weekend morning, there is a junior rally for our huge group of minis and juniors.\u00a0 These rallies last for three hours, the children have approximately 40 mins each of jumping, games, flatwork and care with lots of breaks for drinks and snacks.\u00a0 In addition all members are very welcome at almost all of our rallies, be it flatwork, poles, games, eventing or showjumping.\u00a0 We always advertise the height of the jumps on the rally booking.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n                                    <\/div>\r\n            <\/div>\r\n\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\n\n\r\n<section class=\"content-left-right py-5\">\r\n    <div class=\"container py-md-4\">\r\n        \r\n                <div class=\"row align-items-center flex-row-reverse\">\r\n                    <div class=\"col-md-6\">\r\n                        <div class=\"content-image\">\r\n                                                        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/branches.pcuk.org\/southnottinghamshire\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/516\/2025\/06\/sleeping-games-child-e1760535851591.jpeg\" class=\"card-img-mobile\" alt=\"\"\/>\r\n                                                    <\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                    <div class=\"col-md-6\">\r\n                        <div class=\"content-description-left\">\r\n                            <h3>Year Round activities<\/h3>\n<div>In the winter there are pony care competitions and inter branch quizzes, we always need younger members for these teams.\u00a0 Members learn about pony care through pizza and pony care evenings held during the autumn. These sessions also prepare our members for the pony club tests.\u00a0 The younger members thoroughly enjoy badges, there are literally dozens, and gold badges go to those who have achieved a great number.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>During the summer, we hold \u201cFriday fun\u201d rallies at Arkenfield Equestrian centre, where we ride then a barbecue for all the family.\u00a0 We also run a fabulous picnic ride at the end of the summer, which is suitable for those on\u00a0<b>and<\/b> off the Lead rein, plus there are team competitions with mini classes for games, showjumping, dressage and tetrathlon.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Pony club camp was the highlight of my summer holiday many years ago and I\u2019m pleased to say it is still the highlight for many children.
