Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone is well and safe and starting to look forward to a bit of normality. I am so looking forward to getting back to Pony Club activities and seeing everyone.

I would firstly like to say a huge well done to our members this past year. The way you have adapted and joined in with online activities and achieving workbook/badges has made me incredibly proud to be the DC of SSHBPC.

We have so much to look forward to this summer, starting with rallies taking place in April. Rally bookings are available on our website and this will include Polo-cross, Easter bonnet competition and the return of our club day at the end of the month.

We are already planning our May rallies and more information will be available soon.

I am so pleased that we can run a residential camp this year. We have lots of exciting ideas which we will announce at our AGM and presentation evening, as soon as we can all meet in person and as a large group (fingers crossed last week in June)

Area competitions are going ahead this year and although this is for the senior members, I think it would be lovely if we made it a Pony Club day out and support our members. This will also give the junior members something to aspire to. We will have our gazebo set up where a picnic can be enjoyed by all. We all deserve a treat, so maybe a cheeky glass of bubbles for the parents!!!

I would like to thank Anne Richards for all her hard work on the committee. Anne has now stood down and we welcome Jane Palmer to the committee. Thanks as always to our committee who work behind the scenes to make our pony club so successful.

Thank you, to each and every one of you for re-joining and supporting the Pony Club through an incredibly tough year. We are one of the top three in Pony Club for our renewal rates.

Here’s to summer 2021!!!!!

Best Wishes
