Mounted Games is a team sport that combines a love of ponies and friends with various races. Games is exciting and exhilarating, involves a mix of turns, handovers, skill, vaulting and galloping against other teams. Interested in giving it a go? Ages:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Juniors\u00a0riders must not have attained their 11th birthday by the beginning of the current calendar year (i.e. born in the year of 2012 or after).<\/p>\n

Seniors members must not have attained their 15th birthday by the beginning of the current calendar year (i.e. they must have been born in the year 2010 or later).<\/p>\n

We have a useful whataspp group for the team + trainings on Spond \u2013 please message Jess or Jude to be added to this.<\/p>\n

What to wear \u2013 riding hat (long hair should be tied back), no hoods or jewellery, jodhpur boots are preferred to long boots as its easier for vaulting \/ mounting \/ running.<\/p>\n

What\u00a0to<\/strong>\u00a0expect \u2013 we train in groups depending on age with an emphasis on fun, friendship, teamwork, \u00a0improving confidence and riding skills! We also take part in\u00a0 many competitions throughout the year the year \u2013 see dates below.<\/p>\n

Royal Windsor Horse Show 2025<\/h3>

Congratulations to Katherine on Ginny and Flora on Thumble who were selected to ride as part of the Scotland Pony Club Mounted Games Team at the trials earlier this month. \r\n\r\nThe team will compete at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in May . \r\n\r\nWell done to our members Rosie and Taylor who also went forward to represent our branch and both rode really well.<\/p> <\/div>\r\n\r\n
