Show Jumping is where a horse and rider combination are tested over a course of colourful obstacles, known as fences, which can be easily knocked down if they are hit. The goal is to complete the course in the fastest time without getting any faults. Faults are gained when a fence is knocked down, the horse stops at a fence (refuse) or the horse runs around a fence (run out).<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n <\/path>\r\n <\/svg>\r\n <\/span>\r\n <\/a>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\n\n\r\n\r\n

Show Jumping can take place both indoors and outdoors, so is perfect to enjoy all year round.<\/p>\n

Intended to demonstrate the horse and rider\u2019s courage, athletic ability, precision, speed and partnership, your aim is to jump a clear round.<\/p>\n

We have a variety of Show Jumping rallies throughout the year to suit every member.<\/p>\n

FIRST STEPS<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 These rallies are aimed predominantly at younger members those on and off the lead-rein. Also a fantastic introduction for new members or even older members with new ponies.<\/p>\n

SHOW JUMPING RALLY<\/strong> -These are open to every member throughout the Branch irrelevant of whether you have an interest in competing in Show Jumping Competitions. We use a variety of Coaches and Trainers and members are grouped within their abilities. If you are thinking about taking Pony Club Tests these are also a great way to improve your riding. They are also a chance to let your Manager see where you and your pony are, which can help them decide which level may be suitable for Area Competitions.<\/p>\n

Criteria for Team Selection:<\/strong><\/p>\n

INTERBRANCH<\/strong> competitions selection is made by the team manager from those interested, available and capable of competing at the relevant height.<\/p>\n
