Camp 2019 – Another really successful camp this year, more learning and laughs!

Stroud Pony Club was established in 1978. As a smaller branch member of Area 9, we pride ourselves on our friendly and inclusive ethos. We are situated in the  beautiful Neither Lypiatt, overlooking Stroud and its surrounding areas. We are a very active club with lots of trainings and events throughout the year with high quality instruction.

As a smaller club there are lots of opportunities to take part in team events if members want to. Take a look at the calendar and see what we have on offer. If you aren’t ready for competition, then you can work on achieving pony club badges and good riding instruction. Instructors foster good horsemanship, participation and lifelong riding skills in an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment. Older members are positively encouraged to look after our younger members and everyone mucks in to get jobs done.

If you like the sound of our club, contact one of us from the contacts page and come along to one of our trainings you are sure to be greeted with a smile. You can also follow us on Facebook

The Club has many open events which cater for all abilities. If you join us you are sure to have a fun day in a beautiful place, that is welcoming and well organised. Here are some quotes from people that have joined us this year.

“I would like to say thank you to everyone that helped with the show on Sunday. It was a pleasure to bring to new people to the show and they had a brilliant time. Both families asked me to say a big thank you to everyone that made their day a happy one”.

“Just wanted to say what a fab day I had, the judges were lovely and it was such a welcoming and lovely place to be. Thank you. Can’t wait for next years.”.

Take a look at our gallery you can see a small selection of what we get up to.
