The Pony Club offers so many activities both non ridden and ridden and there can be a lot to discover! Pony Club Rules and Policies<\/h2>\n

To keep everyone safe and uphold fair sportsmanship it is important to have Rules and Policies for competition and to support Official decision making. We encourage everyone to familiarise themselves with the Rules and the Pony Club Policies. Login into the Resource Hub to find out more.<\/p>\n

Riders Dress Code<\/h2>\n

Riders are expected to attend all rallies & training smartly turned out, wearing beige, cream, canary or white jodhpurs, white polo shirt, Pony Club or plain dark sweatshirt, Pony Club tie and a dark hat cover.<\/p>\n

Boots should be black or brown, with a heel. (No wellies or mucker type boots to be worn). Half-chaps of the same colour may be worn with short boots. Gloves are recommended.<\/p>\n

Long hair must be firmly secured above the collar in a hairnet.<\/p>\n

Stocks and XC colours may be worn for XC rallies. Waterproof coats to be worn as appropriate.<\/p>\n

Please do not wear any jewellery \u2013 this can cause injury in the case of an accident.<\/p>\n

Please read the new Hat<\/a> & Body Protector<\/a> rules!<\/h5>\n

Members without the correct kit will not be permitted to take part in some activities.<\/p>\n

Parents’ Information<\/h2>\n

Volunteers and Officials all work together to offer a wealth of opportunities to Members. Parents and Guardians also play a vital role.<\/p>\n

Fairness should take precedence over competitiveness. Teaching by example will foster caring and respect for all.<\/p>\n

Members Insurance<\/h2>\n

Every Member receives insurance cover from Howden Insurance Brokers Ltd, to protect Members whilst taking part in Pony Club and other equestrian activities. Safeguarding<\/h2>\n

Safeguarding is everyone\u2019s responsibility and The Pony Club take Safeguarding very seriously. The Safeguarding Policy signposts a range of documents, provides guidance and key contacts to support those who may have concerns about a vulnerable child, young person or adult. The Branch Safeguarding Officer is available to discuss immediate concerns and you can visit the Resource Hub to find all the relevant documents.<\/p>\n
