Who’s who and how to contact us

The Tedworth Hunt Pony Club is run by volunteers, each of whom help out with different aspects of running the club. Here are the contact details for the main helpers and committee involved with the club.

Please do contact any of us with any questions or for advice on any aspects on Pony Club life. We are all very happy to help!

We are always looking for offers of help with running the club, there is a role or a job for anyone who would like to get involved Help is always very gratefully received, whether you are able to offer a few minutes once in a while or have a bit more time spare. If you can help please let Sophie know – we are a friendly bunch and will be very happy to have you on board!

Committee Members

Sophie and Joss Dalrymple – Joint DCs.

Joss and I have always been involved with horses. Joss evented to 2 star and I have been a keen follower. I hope we have a friendly inclusive and enthusiastic pony club, please always feel you can call us.

Kati Phillips – Assistant DC and Instructor

I have been part of Tedworth for over 10 years as an instructor and mum to Ollie and love teaching ‘everything’ to all levels and abilities. I particularly love teaching flatwork and dressage and watching riders grow in confidence as they learn.
I come from a non horsey family and was late to riding. Aged 14 I joined Angus Pony Club in Scotland and quickly developed a passion for eventing . I was very lucky and thanks to  my amazing first horse I went from having never jumped/competed to Intermediate eventing in one year , we enjoyed many successes together , including Scottish National Champion when I was 15. It was eventing that brought me South 20 years ago although after having children I focused mainly on dressage and with the help of my lovely warmblood had many successes.

Anne Oliver – Treasurer

Anne has been the treasurer for an incredible number of years and has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of all things Pony Club related. We would be quite lost without her!

Lucy Pash – Secretary

My name is Lucy Pash and I’m the secretary, so I let people know when the committee meetings are and take the minutes (a record of what is discussed) at the meetings. A few days after the meeting, I send the minutes to the other committee members.  My daughters Emily and Sophie love being part of the Tedworth Pony Club and their ponies Johnno and Mango have lots of fun too.  We all feel very lucky to have met many lovely Tedworth people, ponies and places, and have enjoyed countless rallies, events and camps over the years.

Lorraine Perry – Membership Secretary and Rally Organiser

I have two children in the Pony Club, Izzy and Edward. Since having the children, I’ve held a voluntary role to support the children’s interests and hobbies and took up the Membership Secretary role in February 2018.
After riding for pleasure as a child, I’m now very much a occasional happy hacker myself and both children ride way better than me (and are considerably braver)! I’m happy to be chief driver/groom!

Joanna Harrison – stable management and badges

My favourite book is obviously the Manual of Horsemanship and for that reason I am in charge of organising unmounted Stable Management rallies (usually with Michelle Williamson), Horse and Pony Care teams, and all the Efficiency Tests from E through to B. Horse and Pony Care is a relatively new discipline in Pony Club where members compete without their ponies to show their ability in all aspects of stable management and from our experience is very fun. Everyone loves Michelle’s Stable Management rallies as they are a great way to have fun with and meet new friends and learn about how to look after your pony and work towards your relevant efficiency test or achievement badge. Just make sure that you have someone in your house who is up for sewing all the badges on. The Efficiency Tests are very popular and we provide the relevant training and support where necessary with the help of Michelle and Kati Phillips. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about any of this and I am always very happy to hear from new members interested to get involved.

Laura Moore – PayPal, admin & website

I have two daughters in the club, who are very lucky to have Tedworth stalwart ponies Paddy and William on loan. I first got involved with the Tedworth PC after enjoying our first mini camp so much that I asked the DC when the next rally for the tiddly ones was on and subsequently found myself organising it, and having as much (or more!) fun as the children.

We all enjoy the club so much, we have met some wonderful friends and the children learn so much not just about riding but about looking after their ponies. Pony club is also very invaluable for learning to be good sports when things don’t go their way and gracious if they do!

Now that my children are a bit older and Tina has taken on the mini rallies, I am responsible for reconciling the PayPal payments with the rally bookings and keeping the website and calendars up to date as well as organising the mounted games rallies which Georgie Hine-Roberts teaches.

I am on 07811123600 or

Michelle Williamson – Instructor and chair of the Senior Members Panel

As a pony mad 8 year old I became a member of The Tedworth Pony Club where I was offered fantastic training, made lots of friends and Summer Camps were the highlight of my year!  So from a ‘pony clubber’ and now as a coach I have had connections with the Tedworth Pony Club for 26 years!

I have trained to the level of a Stage 5 BHS Performance Coach in Complete Horsemanship (BHSI) UKCC Level 3.
During coaching sessions I aim to provide a learning environment which is positive, effort is praised, feedback is constructive, mistakes are allowed and learning is a pleasure.  I enjoy sharing my passion for horses and helping riders to develop their riding skills and knowledge in the care of their horses and ponies.
Eventing is my sport and I have taken many horses across the grades within British Eventing from BE90 to Advanced and 4* International Level.
You can contact me on Mobile: 07791 335 356 or by email on

Tina Dobie – Mini Rallies

I became part of Tedworth PC after joining the mini rallies with my daughter Issy, we started when she was 2 ½ on her little Shetland. 4 years have passed since then, Issy and her bigger (11hh!) pony Tilly, have nearly moved up to the Junior section! I am still fully immersed in minis with my youngest daughter Sophia and her little pony Cuddles. I’m very fortunate to have a lovely mare who is very patient with my girls and so I get to spend some fabulous time hacking and doing fun rides with them.

I took over organising the minis from Laura, allowing me to meet many lovely Tedworth parents, ponies and children.  I enjoy running the mini rallies and watching children develop their riding and confidence as they grow.
