Area Eventing
This competition saw Billie, Dixie, Emma and Holly travel to Cuttery for the Area Eventing kindly hosted by South Pool PC who ran a fantastic day. Unfortunately Kaitlyn and Walter had to withdraw due to Kaitlyn injuring her ankle.
Emma kicked off our members in the 90cm, achieving a super dressage score to take the lead. Emma and ‘Bob’ jumped a classy double clear enabling them to hold on to their lead giving them the win. They will be off to the National Championships in August.
Billie and ‘Hugo’ got a lovely score in the dressage and have taken away lots of positives from both their SJ and their XC.
Holly and ‘Salty’ did themselves proud in the dressage, had a pesky pole in the SJ, clear XC and finished in a fabulous 5th position to qualify for the Regional Championships at Bicton at the end of August.
Dixie and ‘Dara’ did a lovely dressage, rode a wonderful double clear on what proved to be a strong xc track and came home with the win! Off to Bicton Regionals for them too!
I would like to congratulate the girls on the sportsmanship with each other and also their horsemanship with how they each looked after their horses on a warm day that luckily had a good breeze!
