Area Dressage

Our area dressage event was extremely well supported with well over 200 entries, making for some very large classes. Many of our members proudly represented our branch and were a credit to both themselves and our club. The full list of all competitor scores and placings can be seen on Pony Club Results but below are just a few of the highlights from the day:

• Harry and Emily Holland finished in a mixed team for the walk, trot lead rein in 2nd place. Emily also took individual 2nd for this class – a very impressive ride for such a young member!
• Scarlett Harrison successfully made the placings, winning individual 8th in the walk, trot test.
• Tetcott & South Tetcott Prancers comprising of Nancy Carter, Jane Hasson and Ada Ogborne secured a team 4th in the walk, trot class.
• Emma Rowlands riding Southhillfarm Felix won 2nd place in the PC 70 and then also had a second placing on her second ride, Portmead Ballerina, securing 5th place individually, also in the PC 70.
• Dixie McHenry made it into the placings in the PC 70 taking home individual 7th.
• Tetcott & South Tetcott Flying Fillies, (Emma Rowlands, Imogen Wingard, Lily Barriball and Dixie McHenry) won a team 2nd giving them all a qualifying place at the Pony Club Regional Championships at
  Bicton.
• Tetcott and South Tetcott Dashing Dancers, (Nancy Carter, Esther Dunkin, Emma Rowlands and Imogen Wingard) won 5th place, also giving all riders a qualifying place to the Pony Club Regional Championships.
• Evelyn Ogborne, Emily Evans-Chapman and Scarlett Harrison all secured tickets to the Pony Club Regional Championships with their finishing scores.
• Every member from our branch who entered the Grassroots 80 (Abbie McLaren on both her rides, Billie Murray, Oscar Barriball, Grace Murray and Taylor Allcorn) all secured qualifying tickets to the Pony Club Regional Championships!
