Jack and Crackers were 4th in the Intermediate 40km class. Covering the distance in an average speed of 11.8kph. This was slower than we intended but new for this year we had a half way vet gate, two walk sections and a few gates to open and close so all of this meant for the rest of the time we were motoring!

The route was gorgeous in the grounds of Stapleford Hall, up and down the gentle hills, along the meandering river and the going was amazing. Yes Terry and Crackers did canter some long sections at an easy 21kph which made up for the slow walk sections at 5.5kph! Thankyou so much to the Rutland EGB group for putting on the PC championships and to Heather Plasted for lending us her posh Garmin watches so we could track our speed and distance so easily!

So who is up for making up a 4 x 20km Thetford Chase team next year?
