Tivyside Agricultural Show – July 13th 2019
Tivyside Pony Club will be running the Show jumping

Unaffiliated open to all.

Held at: Glan-Llyn Fields, Newcastle Emlyn. SA44 5UA. With thanks to the Evans family.

9.30am to 10.30am Clear round. £2 a round. £3 with a rosette. Entry at the ring.

RING 1 – Start 10.30am Prompt – Enter at main show secretary tent.

Class 1) 40cm (may be led)
Class 2) 50cm
Class 3) 60cm
Class 4) 70cm
Class 5) 80cm
Class 6) 90cm
Class 7) 1 meter

Classes will be run in an A7 format.

ENTRY FEE: £7 and £2 per rider for first aid. Entries on the day.
Rosettes 1st to 4th provided by Tivyside Agricultural Show Society – juniors and seniors will be split.
Juniors (16yrs and under) who are double clear in classes 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 will qualify for Cricklands (Championship of Great Britain) David Broome Event Centre.
Seniors who are double clear from class 4 onwards will qualify for Cricklands (Championship of Great Britain) David Broome Event Centre.

A successful day!

A MASSIVE thank you to all of you helped on the day and helped to set up. Thank you to those who donated raffle prizes and cakes. Without all of you it would not have been possible.

Great to see Tivyside members competing too. From the littlest to the very oldest members!

Will post how much we made once we’ve totted it all up.

It has been pointed out that the wording below (highlighted in yellow) has been omitted from the 2019 Show Jumping rulebook.

Page 35

iii) achieved one double clear in BS or SJI competitions where any of the fences were above 1.00m in the first round. Except that double clears in a BS Pony Newcomers Preliminary do not render the combination of horse and rider ineligible”

Please can you communicate this information to your Branches and Centres.

The very useful list of BS height/classes which could potentially affect eligibility (on page 53) are correct and can be referred to should you need to.
