Pony Club Area Website

It is suggested that all members get into the habit of viewing the Area 18 web pages as there are often events listed there that may be omitted from this page.

Please note the Pony Club rule books for Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing can be downloaded from the website. It is every competitors responsibility to be familiar with the rules of the discipline and to comply with eligibility rules and tack requirements.

Rally Bookings

Please can all members adhere to the rule that you must book in with the DC at least 7 days before a rally or fun ride. This is to give the DC time to organise the times and rides with the chief instructor and then to post the details for you on the website

Please be reminded if you book into a rally and then do not attend you will still be charged the £6 fee. This is because it costs the same in Instructors fees once the rides have been decided whether you come or not.

Club Nights

These are held monthly and are predominently Stable Management.  The knowledge gained at the club nights will be invaluable when the Pony Club Area Quiz comes around.  These night are also an opportunity for members to do many of the Pony Club achievement badges as well as have some fun!
Pony Club members should wear theri sweatshirts and ties with trousers to club nights.
You also are required to book in for the Club Nights with the DC.

Fun Rides

The next fun ride will be suitable for all abilities.
It is hoped that the ride will be at Canaston woods.  Please book in with the DC and state whether you wish to be in the  slow ride (Lead Rein can join in),  Medium Ride or Fast Ride.

The Annual General Meeting will be in  Nov at 7pm in the Whitland Rugby Club.  There will be presentations for achievements over the year as well as other info for members.  Please bring a plate of food for the buffet, the bar will be open for drinks.  Pony Club members do not have to wear pony club sweatshirt and tie.
