EASYFUNDRAISING

Thank you for looking at this page with more information about Easyfundrasing and how it works. This method of fundraising has been promoted by The Pony Club and many branches are already using it.  This is free for the branch and yourselves.

We’ve partnered with Easyfundraising, where over 8,000 retailers will donate to our cause every time you shop. So whether it is everyday essentials or a big purchase, every shop can raise free donations for the branch.  Plus, for the next two weeks, if we get 10 or more people to sign up, we’ll earn a £1 bonus donation for each supporter!

FAQs

1. How does easyfundraising work?

easyfundraising turns your everyday online shopping into money for our organisation. When you use the easyfundraising website or app to shop with leading retailers, the retailer sends our organisation a free donation at no additional cost.

2.Which retailers will donate when I shop?

There are over 8,000 retailers available to shop with, including Amazon, eBay, Argos, John Lewis, Trainline, Sainsbury’s, Boots, Booking.com, Currys, Aviva, M&S, Debenhams, Waitrose, and Holland & Barrett. It means that no matter what you buy online, from travel and holidays to fashion, homewares, insurance, and groceries – you can raise free donations at no extra cost.

3. Will it cost me anything?

No! easyfundraising is completely free to use.

4. Will my shopping cost more?

Absolutely not! It’s the retailer who makes the donation, not you. Your shopping experience is exactly as normal.

5. Who can see where I’ve shopped?

We can only see how much our supporters have raised – we can’t see who you’ve shopped with, what was purchased or how much you spent.

6. What does easyfundraising know about my shopping?

So that the easyfundraising team can track the donations you’ve raised, easyfundraising know where you’ve shopped and how much you spent but what you’ve bought is your business!

7. Is it safe? What does easyfundraising do with my data?

easyfundraising is completely safe and secure and they will not sell or pass your data on. They are members of the Institute of Fundraising.

8. How does our organisation receive the donations I raise?

easyfundraising total up all the donations raised by everyone supporting our organisation every three months and sends them to us. You don’t need to do anything to make this happen, it is all done automatically.

9. Will I get a donation when I renew my insurance, telecoms or utilities?

Some retailers have a clause that means they only offer a donation for new customers who have never shopped with them before.

This is usually the case for retailers where you buy a policy from them such as insurance, utilities, mobile, broadband etc

Each retailer has their own page on the website where you can see their donation rates and terms and conditions.

10. What is the Donation Reminder and is it safe?

The Donation Reminder makes sure you never miss out on a donation for our organisation by alerting you if the retailer you’re shopping with will donate. A reminder will appear on your screen whenever a donation is available. Click “Activate Donation” and you’ll raise a FREE donation when you check out. It is safe and secure and won’t slow your computer down.

11. How do easyfundraising make money?

easyfundraising is funded by the retailers. This means that retailers pay them a commission each time a sale is made with them through the site. This is separate to the donation you raise.
