The Equestrian Youth Organisation

Welcome to our Branch of The Pony Club. We have Members from the age of 4-25, who participate in a variety of activities, from Rallies, Competitions, Tests and Camp. The Pony Club is a unique youth equestrian organisation, providing the opportunity to participate in 9 different sports. At our Branch we focus on Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing, Polocrosse, Mounted Games, Polo, Pony Racing, Tetrathlon and Endurance.

The Pony Club has been the starting point for a large majority of equestrian team members, equine professionals, and medal winners. Training is at the heart of The Pony Club, providing opportunities to build knowledge on improving equine welfare, rider safety and enabling Members to develop lifelong skills, alongside riding, and having fun!

Our branch is in Area 8, based on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border. Our members enjoy a wide variety of activites, and we try to provide a fun programme of rallies and non ridden events which has something for everyone. We have regular rallies aimed at all our members for mounted games, jumping, flatwork and offer lead rein/assisted sessions for our younger or less experienced members, and also run clinics with higher profile instructors for our more experienced members.

We recognise the value in stable management theory, the importance of learning how to care for horsesand ponies properly and we hold badgework sessions which support the children in progressing through the Pony Club Proficiency tests, as well as the opportunity to earn their Achievement badges.

We are always happy to talk through further details with anyone interested in our branch- please do get in touch.
