We are a friendly, thriving, all inclusive club and offer a wide range of opportunities to all our members.
We hold rallies, specialist training and numerous events for all our members. These include flat work, show jumping, cross country training and horse care in small groups. All are taught by our team of highly qualified and dedicated coaches. We also offer fun beach rides, Halloween rides and a variety of outings such as our memorable behind the scenes guided tours of the Household Cavalry in London and the racing industry in Newmarket.
Our rallies and training are run at a host of different venues but we are so fortunate that our ‘home’ is the beautiful Sotterley Estate, between Beccles and the East coast. This is where we hold our summer Camp, the highlight of the year for lots of our members, as well as many other events.
Our ethos is to provide the very best instruction in a fun and supportive way, whatever your age and ability. We encourage our members to take the progressive Pony Club tests and to work towards their own goals and ambitions. So, whether you’re mastering the rising trot or want to compete in teams at National level, the Waveney Harriers is for you.
The Pony Club offers enormous opportunities both nationally and internationally and its qualifications are recognised world-wide – and have certainly proved advantageous for our older members filling out their UCAS forms and CVs!
