General Working Rallies
General Rallies offer a shared learning experience that spans the full spectrum of riding skills and pony care, welcoming all members and abilities. The fee for each rally reflects the cost of professional instruction and access to the venue or facilities used.
Led by Pony Club accredited coaches, these group sessions provide Pony Club members with high-quality education at accessible prices. While specialised training sessions focus on specific equestrian disciplines, rallies offer a broader exploration of horsemanship. These range from themed fun rallies designed for our youngest riders to more advanced sessions—such as gridwork or galloping—for older or more experienced members.
In addition to their educational value working through The Pony Club Training pathway, rallies are lively social events that help young equestrians build lasting friendships around their shared passion. Most rallies are open to all, with any prerequisites clearly indicated in advance.
General Rallies are held monthly indoors during the Winter months and outdoors during the Summer. Members are grouped together with similar ages, ability and Pony Club test level.
