How to book a Rally

  • Go to the Calendar to view the available activities. Use the filter to select specific activities to view or scroll through them all to see the full programme, including not just branch activities, but Area 7 and National as well.
  • Click on Book Now and you will be taken to the booking platform with full details of the event.
  • We recommend you register your details with EntryMaster so that the system will autofill, saving time the next time you book. You will receive an email confirming any bookings you make.
  • A waitlist system is in operation so if you find a rally is full, you will be notified that you have been added to the waitlist. Should a suitable place become available the organiser will trigger an email offering you a place to book on and pay.  This place can be accepted or declined.
  • The booking system does keep a record of all your bookings so you can go back in and check. Alternatively,  keep a note on your calendar.
  • Should you find at anytime that you need to cancel please notify the organiser immediately. If this is within 48 hours of the event please notify by text or call only.  Emails at this late stage may get missed.

Cancellation Policy

  • Rally/training sessions close 1 week before the event. Cancellation up to this date will be given a full refund minus the booking fee.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellation within 1 week of the event, unless the place is filled.

Rally Groups

  • Groups will be put together once the rally/training has closed.
  • An message will be posted on the Branch What’s App group notifying you of your group and time slot approximately 3 days before the event.
  • When putting groups together we take into account many items such as peer groups, riding standards and time requests. We cannot always guarantee to meet these requests, but we try our best.
  • If there are any spare places needing filling, these will be advertised on our What’s App Group group.

Sideline Coaching – A Reminder for Parents

As we continue to support the growth and development of our young riders, it’s essential that we foster an environment rooted in positivity, learning, and sportsmanship. With this in mind, we’d like to address a matter that can significantly affect the experience of riders, coaches, and fellow parents alike: coaching from the sidelines.

We are fortunate to have a team of dedicated, qualified coaches who give their time and expertise to help our riders thrive. Unfortunately, we have recently received concerns from coaches and parents regarding sideline coaching—ranging from simple remarks like “shorten your reins” to more detailed instructions throughout a session.

While we truly appreciate your enthusiasm and commitment to your child’s progress, we respectfully ask that all parents refrain from giving coaching instructions from outside the arena.

Why This Matters:

  • Safety: Multiple voices can distract riders, particularly younger ones, increasing the risk of accidents.
  • Focus: Riders must be able to concentrate fully on their pony and their coach without outside interference.
  • Respect for Coaches: Unsolicited input undermines the authority and effectiveness of our coaches, making their job harder and the session less productive.
  • Skill Development: Allowing children to learn directly from their coach builds confidence, independence, and decision-making skills.

We understand that many of you are experienced riders yourselves, and it’s natural to feel emotionally invested in your child’s performance—whether in a casual session or at a competition. However, the best way to support your child is by trusting the process, encouraging effort, and celebrating progress.

Once your child is in the care of our coaches, please let them take the lead. Your encouragement, positivity, and respect are vital to creating a constructive and enjoyable environment for everyone involved.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
