PONY CLUB TRI and TETRATHLON 

We have a growing number of members that compete at Triathlon (run, shoot, swim) and include the riding element for Tetrathlon.

Competitions are open to all members and for those grouped by age in Tadpole classes and above this will require them to be proficient to shoot with an air pistol before entering a competition.  Shoot training is held on Friday evenings at Biddisham Village Hall and we are able to supply guns and all necessary equipment if members would like to use them or bring your own (PC approved) gun.

Beanies will need to be proficient with the ‘beanbag throw’ and training for this can also be on Fridays or by arrangement (all equipment provided).

What to wear? Long trousers and pony club sweatshirts (or other long sleeved top) sensible shoes, no Crocs, wellies or boots that cover the ankle, trainers are ideal.

No person under the age of 8 (on the day of competition) may shoot at a Pony Club competition.

Winter League 2023/24
This will start with Spooners Tri on 22 October and the Final will be at East Cornwall Tri on 2 March
Best three scores to count from 9 events in areas 15/16.

National Triathlon Qualifers this year will be at The Eggesford Tri for area 16 and Polden Hills for area 15.

Pontispool Inter Area Tetrathlon will be on 25/26 May 2024

There will be a new Mini Regional team event June 2024 (Area 9) at Oxstalls Cross Country. The course, as for juniors, will be a challenging 80 cross country. There will be stabling and camping on site.
