The wet, muddy arena couldn’t dampen the competitive spirit! Our youngest members demonstrated fantastic control and focus during the challenging gymkhana games:
Obstacle Navigation: Riders on their decorated ponies navigated various poles and markers set up in the arena .
Aides and Instruction: Experienced helpers were on hand every step of the way, leading the ponies and giving instructions to ensure safety and fun .
Dismount Challenges: Some activities required quick movement! One determined young rider was photographed practicing getting off their pony safely, using blue plant pots as steps under the careful supervision of an instructor .
Focus on Fun: Even the simplest tasks, like reaching for an objects while mounted, became a game, showcasing the bond between the young riders and their furry partners .

It was a day that truly highlighted the resilience and camaraderie of the Pony Club. From the muddy tracks to the happy smiles, everyone helped make the day a success. Ponies looked like they had thoroughly enjoyed the splashy conditions .
