<\/p>\n

Members must be presentable and turned out correctly at Pony Club events not just for appearance but for safety reasons also. All clothing, whilst not required to be new, must be clean, neat and tidy and all tack must be in good condition and fit for purpose. There are a few important points that should be noted as follows<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

– Shoulders must be covered for all rallies and for XC rallies long sleeves are compulsory.
\n– No hoodies or coats with hoods, jeans or jewellery are allowed at any mounted rally, with the exception of a wristwatch, wedding ring, stock pin or tie clip.
\n– Hats and body protectors must meet minimum safety requirements set out by PC HQ and be tagged to say they have been checked.
\n– No fixed peaks to be worn for Cross Country, Racing or Mounted Games.
\n– Gloves are recomended but not compulsory.
\n– Body Protectors are compulsory for all Cross-Country riding and Pony Racing whether it be training or competing.<\/p>\n

TACK<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Tack must be clean, in good condition, be properly fitted, and suitable for the activity you are taking part in.\u00a0Tack inspections are carried out at all pony club competitions and you won\u2019t be allowed to compete without being checked so it\u2019s important you get the correct equipment. For all rallies and competitions, you must have a plain or pony club branch numnah. There are some specific requirements for tack including stirrups, girths, bits, spurs, & whips and before competitng at any PC event you should always check the rule book for the discipline you are riding in for their specific requirements.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\n\n
