FEBRUARY 2020

8 February 2020 – Show Jumping with Gemma Sayers 10:00-15:00 

Location: Bramshill Stud, Wellhouse Lane, Bramshill RG27 0RJ

Cost: Group: £15.50  Private: £23.00

Description: This show jumping training sessions is with Gemma in her arena at Bramshill Stud focussing on SJ technique.  We are pleased to offer 2 options

Option 1 – to be part of a 1 hour lesson for group session for 3 similar riders – Cost is £15.50 per rider

Option 2 – to have a 30 min private lesson for 1 rider – Cost is £23.00 per rider

There will be options on the booking page of the website, so book the one that suits you!!

9 February 2020 – Sno-Tubing at John Nike LC – 15:00-16:00 

Location: Bramshill Stud, Wellhouse Lane, Bramshill RG27 0RJ

Cost: Group: £12.95

Description: A fun-filled sociable hour of sliding down a ski slope in a rubber ring for our members from ages 4 and upwards!!  Sno-Tubes are large inflatable rings which can be spun and linked together to slide down the slope.  Activity is safe, fun and always popular with all ages. No prior experience needed! Simple stroll up the slope with your tube, get on and enjoy the ride.

We have space for 30 people so make sure you book up!!

Dress Code:  For Sno-Tubing it is as simple as dressing for the weather. However, we do recommend long sleeves and trousers. Trainers or equivalent shoes are a must.

Location: BCA, Hall Place, Burchetts Green, Maidenhead SL6 6QR

Cost: £25.50

Description: All heights from 70cm to 1.1m (please state the height you are currently jumping on the booking form). We will have a course of jumps out for you to practice over and you will be in groups of 3 of a similar level

18 February 2020 – Mini Grid Jumping 12:15-14:00 

Location: BCA, Hall Place, Burchetts Green, Maidenhead SL6 6QR

Cost: £25.50

Description:  From poles up to 70cm – this session is for our minis with Lorna and Kim Haslam who took our riders at Bisley. The session will be aimed at those starting jumping or looking to improve their effectiveness!! As requested, we are making the groups smaller and will have 3 per group with a max of 4 groups

20 February – Horse and Pony Care – 10:30-12:00

Location: Wokingham Equestrian Centre (WEC), Chapel Green, Wokingham, RG40 3ER

Cost: £5.50  

Description:

This session is aimed at all our members from 4 up to 24!!  This practical training will help those to move forward with their efficiency tests and we will be building in our Quiz and Horse & Pony Care competition training into this too!

22 February 2020 – Semi Private Flatwork Sessions – 10:00-14:00

Location: Lanshott Equestrian, Gracious Pond Road, Chobham, Surrey, GU24 8HJ

Cost: £15.50

Description: These sessions are with Lorna.  Sessions will be in pairs of similar level.  You need to confirm what you fancy doing and Lorna will work with you to improve!  This is great for Minis who might want to practice their dressage tests or our older members improve the quality of their horses work

29 February – Cross Country Schooling at Tweseldown 10:00-13:00

Location: Tweseldown Racecourse, Bourley Road, Church Crookham, Fleet GU52 8AD

Cost: 15.50  (Cost of instruction for a 1.5 hour session for 4 people)

Description:

One of the few XC courses open at this time of year, a great opportunity to jump around this lovely course. Groups of 4 of similar ability and all riders need to be jumping 80cm plus confidently for this session.

Location: Oakfield Park Equestrian, New Road, Mortimer, Berkshire  RG7 3AP

Cost: £26.50

Description: All heights from 70cm to 1.1m (please state the height you are currently jumping on the booking form). We will have a course of jumps out for you to practice over and you will be in groups of 3 of a similar level. This is a great chance for those preparing for the Winter League Qualifier
