We had two mini teams at the Area Horse and Pony Care. They split teams into two rounds over the morning and afternoon as there were so many teams which were judged separately and placed 1st -8th with their own prize giving but the top three overall scores qualified for the National Championships in August. Many congratulations and well done to Lucy G, Alice and Annabelle who won section B, qualifying for the champs and Bertie, Amelia and Ellie came 4th in section B.<\/p>\n

There were 8 stations with practical activities covering all aspects of horse and pony care and the Blue Cross Mini achievement badges. Both teams have worked so hard in badge club and stable management sessions and achieved almost perfect scores in the understanding your pony round which is a huge testament to them and the relationship they have with their ponies.<\/p>\n

uiz or the Horse and Pony care competition next year please let us know so we can try and make training for them a more regular activity throughout the year.<\/p>\n
