Bramham International Horse Trials 2025

Zetland Pony Club was well represented at Bramham International Horse Trials at the start of June.

Zetland put forward a team to compete in the Queen Mary’s School Pony Club Team Show Jumping. Cheered on by enthusiastic supporters, the team of Scarlett D, Charlotte H-C, Isobel C-W and Violet S jumped a 1m track in the Top Spec arena at Bramham, coming 2nd overall. An outstanding result in a tense competitive atmosphere, well done to all involved.

Zetland also had a senior mounted games team competing on Saturday and Sunday. The team of Poppy C, Sophia C, Poppy F, Rosie C and Daisy C  were consistent and on top of their game over both days, finishing in 4th place.  A fantastic time was had by all

We also had members competing in the Arena Eventing on the Sunday and former members Holly Richardson and Tara Dixon competing in the main Horse Trials competition.

Last but certainly not least – a special mention for another Zetland Pony Club alumni Daniel Alderson who puts it best in his own words, “I have always wanted to compete at Bramham horse trials and I finally got the opportunity with Blarney Monbeg Pepper. She came out on the third and final day and jumped the most amazing clear show jumping to finish 4th in the CCI4*L 🥳⭐️
I am so so happy with this gutsy little mare who is tricky in her own way but when it comes down to it she always tries her best for me and this week she proved that I can always rely on her ❤️
