From Wigan/M61 go past Reebok stadium on left. Straight through traffic lights at Tesco. At roundabout turn right (Chorley new road.) At traffic lights turn left into Victoria road (signposted A666 Bolton.) Straight on at next traffic lights, straight on at roundabout. Straight on at traffic lights (Moss Bank Park.) Straight on at traffic lights (Smithills Dene Road/Halliwell Road junction.) Straight on at traffic lights (passing Asda on right.) Straight on at traffic lights (passing Shell garage on left.) At traffic lights turn left into Thicketford Road. Show ground is on the right as you drop down the hill.
From Ramsbottom follow signs for Bolton. At Bradshaw T junction (church clock) turn right. Straight on at traffic lights (passing Cannon Slade School on right.) At next traffic lights turn left (Shell garage.) At next traffic lights turn left into Thicketford Road. Show ground is on the right as you drop down the hill.

From the M6
Use junction 23, head down the A580 (East Lancashire Road) towards Manchester. At the first roundabout take the first exit on to the A573 ( heading towards Wigan).Straight at the 1st mini roundabout, through centre of Golborne, bear left at the 2nd.Follow this road (DO NOT TURN OFF IT AT ALL) for approximately 2 miles.There is a pub called The Dover Lock on the left.Go over the canal bridge, past parked cars, bus shelter and railing on left. Turn left after the railings between terraced houses (nos 376 to 378)
From the M60 use junction 14 St Helens, head down the A580 towards Liverpool for approx 10 miles to the second roundabout, take the third exit onto the A573 then follow above.
