AVHPC Christmas Team SJ Results!

AVHPC Christmas SJ – Friday’s classes were as expected now at West Wilts – jumps are full up! Classes were full, though not as many as usual in the first two classes of the day.  It was so good to see our members out during this holiday period representing our pony club, thank you all for coming and with such great supportive team spirit!

Lauren & Megan Blackmar both competed as individuals in class 8 which was a large class. Thanks to Megan for filling in this class at the last minute.

Megan Blackmar, Ellie Clarke and Mia Ralph were our team of 3 in the 95cms class with a lovely clear round by Mia on Rua and Ellie and Meg both on new horses.

Poppy Wilkinson, Tom Griffiths, Jodie Kelly & Milo Kennedy also competed in the 95cm class and did very well to win the class, with individual 6th for Milo and individual 7th for Jodie (and Poppy 11th).

The challenging 105cms course did not affect our riders or horses, Mia, riding Rua as an individual, rode a wonderful round but had an unlucky pole at the very first jump.  Team 1st in the 105cms went to our team (above)again, of Poppy Wilkinson, Tom Griffiths, Jodie Kelly & Milo Kennedy with Poppy and Jodie both producing fast, double clears and individual placings for Poppy (3rd), Jodie (5th) and Milo (7th)

Below, Jodie and Poppy with too many Father Christmases (is that possible??)

On the Thursday Gracie was individual 4th in the 60cm class and the team (below) of Gracie and Imogen Gray, April Masters and Tallula Kelly came team 5th in the 70cm class with April 9th individually.  April also did really well to come 7th individually in the 80cm class.

Very well done to all our competitors over the 2 days.   Sandra Kelly

A huge thank you to Sandra for organising our entries.
